By placing an order with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. We reserve the right to update or amend these Terms at any time. The latest version will always be available on this page.

Trade Customers

Our products are primarily supplied to trade customers including upholsterers and other businesses.

If you are purchasing in the course of business, you acknowledge that:

  • Consumer legislation may not apply.
  • Products are made strictly to your specifications.
  • You are responsible for ensuring suitability for your intended use.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or limit orders at our discretion.

 

Orders & Specification Approval

All cushions are made to order based on the specifications provided and approved by you.

It is your responsibility to ensure that:

  • All measurements, dimensions, and details are accurate.
  • Any drawings or instructions supplied are correct.

All orders are produced strictly in accordance with the specifications approved at the time of order. Once confirmed, specifications are deemed final.

An order is only accepted once confirmed by us in writing.

 

Products & Tolerances

Due to the handmade nature of our products:

A size tolerance of +/- 2cm applies.

Variations in shape, firmness, and finish may occur.

Slight differences between production batches may occur.

Feather and down-filled cushions will naturally settle and compress over time and will require regular plumping to maintain appearance.

Feather and down-filled cushions may vary in loft and firmness.

These characteristics are normal and are not considered faults.

 

Materials & Fillings

All cushions are manufactured using materials sourced and supplied by us.

We select materials suitable for their intended use and sourced from suppliers who meet recognised UK safety standards.

Our feather and down fillings are sourced with a focus on ethical practices. We rely on supplier assurances and certifications but cannot independently verify all aspects of the supply chain.

We reserve the right to substitute materials with suitable alternatives of equal quality where necessary.

We shall not be liable for:

  • Natural variations in materials.
  • Wear and tear over time.
  • Effects of cleaning methods or environmental conditions.

 

Pricing

All prices:

Are in GBP and exclude VAT (unless otherwise stated). Exclude delivery unless specified.

We reserve the right to:

  • Amend prices at any time
  • Correct errors or inaccuracies
  • Cancel orders where pricing errors have occurred.

 

Payment

All goods must be paid for in full on completion of your order and before any items are collected or dispatched. We reserve the right to request a deposit or full payment at point of order.

Goods remain our property until full payment has been received and cleared.

We reserve the right to charge interest and recovery costs on overdue payments.

 

Amendments & Cancellations

All items are bespoke and made to order.

Orders cannot be cancelled once production has commenced.

Amendments must be requested in writing within five working days of order placement.

Changes may incur additional charges or may not be possible once production has started.

If cancellation is requested before completion, we reserve the right to retain costs for materials, labour, and administration.

 

Production & Lead Times

Production lead times are estimates only and may vary depending on workload, materials, and complexity.

We shall not be liable for delays outside our reasonable control.

 

Delivery

Delivery in the UK mainland will be arranged upon completion of your order.

Delivery within the local Long Eaton area is provided free of charge on a kerbside basis only.

Delivery outside the local area will be charged separately, with costs confirmed and agreed prior to dispatch.

We reserve the right to determine what constitutes the local delivery area.

All deliveries are made to the nearest accessible point at the delivery address. We do not carry goods into properties or to specific rooms.

You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate delivery details.
  • Ensuring safe and suitable access.
  • Making arrangements for moving goods from the delivery point.

Deliveries are made by prior arrangement, Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays).

Risk transfers to you upon delivery or attempted delivery.

If delivery cannot be completed due to access issues, absence, or incorrect information:

  • Additional delivery charges may apply.
  • Storage charges may be incurred.

For orders outside the UK:

Shipping must be arranged by you unless otherwise agreed.

You are responsible for all import duties, taxes, and fees.

 

Inspection, Returns & Faults

You must inspect goods upon receipt.

Any faults must be reported within five working days with photographic evidence.

As all items are made to order:

We do not accept returns or offer refunds unless goods are proven to be faulty.

We will not accept claims for:

  • Minor tolerances in size or finish.
  • Natural material variations.
  • Issues arising from incorrect specifications provided by you.

If a manufacturing fault is confirmed, we will repair or replace the item at our discretion.

 

Suitability & Use

We do not guarantee suitability for any particular purpose beyond standard domestic use unless expressly agreed in writing.

 

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

Loss of profit, business, or opportunity.

Indirect or consequential losses.

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods supplied.

 

Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier delays, transport disruption, or events outside our control.
